Creative. Credible. Committed.

Electrical and control engineering grounded in code, IEEE standards, and decades of field-tested practice — customized to the customer, not the company.

Capabilities

Engineered for the way things actually run.

Alberta code. IEEE standards. Decades of field-tested practice.

Discipline

Electrical engineering that reads the single-line *and* the plant floor.

Drawings only tell half the story. Our engineers spend time in the field — with operators, maintenance crews, and the equipment itself — so the design reflects how the plant actually runs, not how it was commissioned on paper ten years ago.

  • IEEE 1584 arc-flash hazard analysis
  • NFPA 70E electrical safety compliance
  • CSA class/division classification
  • Power-quality and load-flow analysis

Electrical & Control System Design

Modern applications demand more efficiency, more performance, and more safety — all at once. Our engineers stay current with the tech that's actually being retrofitted into industry, so no application is out of reach.

  • Strategic electrical and control system designs
  • Safety and reliability without performance trade-offs
  • Recommendations on improving current designs
  • Deep understanding of PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, and network layouts
  • In-house solutions; customer stays informed throughout
  • Adapts to any existing systems

Arc-Flash Studies

Thousands of arc-flash incidents are reported every year — this is not a safety concern to take lightly. We perform hazard calculations and impact assessments per IEEE 1584, identify the risk, and specify the appropriate PPE and mitigation.

03

Building Safety & Classification

Sophisticated equipment in the wrong envelope is dangerous. In fire or gas-leak scenarios, equipment can be destroyed and personnel seriously injured. We abide by the 2014 Alberta Building Codes and classify properly from the start.

  • Understand equipment hazards before design
  • Consider building class and division up front
  • Engineer to meet both customer need and safety standard
  • Extensive safety testing before release

Power System Analysis

Voltage fluctuations, poor harmonics, and hard-to-diagnose electrical discrepancies all show up in real power systems. We use modern monitoring and analysis tools to find them, mitigate them, and optimize motor startups and load profiles.
